MyFacultyActivites Pilot Program
- Annual merit review as well as tenure and promotion evaluation requires reporting about numerous educational, research and service activities. It is important to save information about activities spanning teaching, scholarship and service the tenure and promotion dossier. Details such as a letter sent to you from a former student, a newspaper or magazine article that features your work are important as well. In some cases where your students attend graduate school or their subsequent employment status may also be informative. Saving the task of collecting this wealth of information until the Dossier is due can be stressful.
MyFacultyActivities is designed to help you gather and archive relevant information during your pre-tenure years or after, if you wish. Dossier guidelines change from time to time, but the type of information that needs to be collected and presented does not change. Use MyActivities as an archive for the information you will need at important milestones in your career.
The MyFacultyActivities pilot program consists of a password protected database. You will required to use your MyNEU login and password to begin. We are currently looking at identifying different approaches to list the information. The database is backed-up daily.
